Strawberry Mint Infused Water

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Strawberries
  • 1 Lemon
  • 10-15 leaves Mint
  • Ice
  • Filtered Water

Instructions
 

  • Core and slice strawberries. Remove lemon rind, and cut into thin slices.
  • Lightly bruise mint leaves by placing them in the palm of one hand and lightly clapping. This will release the natural mint oils for a more aromatic infusion.
  • In a 1-liter pitcher, combine strawberry, lemon, and mint. Fill with filtered water and add ice to chill.
  • Let sit in the refrigerator for at least two hours. Strain and serve.
  • If keeping for a longer time, strain fruits and mint from the water before 24 hours have passed. Be careful not to steep for too long.
