The Banana Peanuts Butter Smoothie is a perfect blend of rich peanut butter, sweet bananas, and smooth vanilla yogurt. It is a refreshing and satisfying treat that is great for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert. For a fun twist, we added a peanut-shaped peanut cookie on top, and we discovered that dipping it into the smoothie is absolutely delicious.
We used fresh bananas, but you can certainly use frozen bananas instead. If you do, just adjust the amount of ice cubes to get the desired consistency.
We thought the smoothie was sweet enough since the sugar is in the creamy peanut butter we used and the vanilla yogurt. However, if it is not sweet enough for you, you can add some honey to the smoothie. If you prefer a version with less sugar, you can use unsweetened peanut butter and plain yogurt or skip the yogurt altogether.
